A feminine tank and dress perfect for summer, the Egret is a quick easy sew. Similar in style and construction to the Heron dress & Heron Shirt, the Egret is a gathered high neck but is sleeveless (rather than a raglan sleeve).
- Easy sew high gathered neck
- Tank or Dress style options
- Optional waist belt (wear with sewn fabric tie or alternate buckle belt)
- Sleeve edge finished with bias tape or facing.
- Sizes XS-4XL (UK10-24 NZ/AU 8-22)
>DIFFICULTY LEVEL: Confident beginner ready for the next step. Easy Intermediate (4/10).
WOVEN fabrics : Most light to mid weight woven fabrics will suit this dress.
We recommend rayon, light-mid weight linen, cotton and cotton blends, crepes and cotton/silk blends for summer.
Model wears size S(10) and is 171 cm tall
DRESS-Floral is polyester crepe with armhole facings.
-Slate grey is a polyester chiffon with store bought bias armhole finish.
TANK (Blue)-100% silk chiffon (ex scarf). Whilst silk crepe is recommended this was sewn from silk chiffon which is potentially too delicate for repeat wears. Silk crepe is preferable. Armholes finished in hand made bias.
