For printing in A4 or US Letter on a home printer. Printing at home is the most cost-effective, and sticking your pattern tiles together to make your full size pattern is easy. Further information for printing at home can be found in our Resources section here.
3. AO Pattern file
AO is a large scale file designed to be printed at a Print Copy Shop. You cannot print this on your home printer as it is too big. If you choose to use this large file you will pay extra to have it printed but you do not have to stick anything together.
You can use the ADOBE LAYERS FEATURE to open the PAH pattern file and print only the size you need (and eliminate the "noise" of the unwanted sizes). CLASSIC PANT
19 July 2024 - (v3) Tapered leg added as a style option (previous was instructions to hack the leg to tapered). Quick sew instructions improved.
5 May 2023 - (v2) Pattern updated to increase the waist width by 2cm. Instructions include how to adjust the waist back down if you require (if using fabric with a small amount of spandex, or would prefer a smaller waist and don't mind a "wiggle" to put them on for example).

Egret Dress & Top/Classic Pant
I purchased this pattern with every intention of making for the British Spring/Summer when it stops raining. Unfortunately I am recovering from surgery and can’t do much at present. Have bought Sewing Revival patterns in the past and have been very pleased with then and I see no reason that these will not be the same.
New ZealandA promising pattern, but I will need to make mods
I made a test garment, size Medium, from an old bed sheet so these comments are based on the test garment. The pattern was easy to cut out and sew. Love the size of the pockets. Could not find out via online reviews whether I should do a flat bum adjustment, so I didn't. But at 5' tall, I found the legs are really wide. So I will need to adjust that, maybe by taking it in a lot on the inside seam. Then i may need to do a flat bum adjustment. When I've done that I can tell whether I love the pattern or not.

This is a great pattern, relatively quick and easy to make. I made a a bias binding faux hem to keep the length. Love the flat front and angled pockets. I feel quite put together when wearing them
AustraliaPerfect Shorts
Great shorts pattern with just the right amount of gather. I have made them twice already, the second time I widened the waistband and use three rows of thinner elastic which sits better than the wider elastic. I also added a faux fly.

New ZealandClassic Pants a Mother and daughter hit!
The pattern came together easily. I made shorts for myself in size 18 and the long version for my daughter in size 10. Both were made in linen. These pants a re comfortable to wear and look great. The elasticated back makes them easy for me to get on and off, although they are a bit tight over the hips on my daughter. Next time I will check the garment measurements and give her a bit more ease.

I sewed the Egret sleeveless top a few months ago in crepe silk and I have been wearing it a lot! A simple and quick sew, but so comfy and chic. I am about to make another in a lightweight cotton and I am sure many more versions of it will follow.

I found the pattern quick to sew. I made shorts in some left over, heavyweight cream linen. I wanted to check the fit first as I have problems getting trousers to fit well. The classic pant are the first ever pattern to fit me well with no alterations needed. WOW. I really like the flat front and gathering at the back, So now I can make some more shorts for summer and longer trousers. Thanks Janine for a great pattern.

I have been a fan of Sidewinders for a while, but there was a tendency for the legs sometimes to feel as if they were not lying quite right, Therefore I am really happy you’ve brought out this pattern - same stylish approach but the legs are much better. And the variations look great - I am looking forward to trying them too. Excellent fit and great instructions.

Have made both the pants and shorts from linen. Super easy and quick to make up. Great fit, used the hip measurement and then just needed to take in waist by 2cm each side on the back for best fit. Will definitely be making plenty more .
