"I was surprised how easily this coat came together with such a beautiful professional finish. I made it out of a firm canvas fabric to give it a casual look. The instructions are clear and precise and although harder than other Sewing Revival patterns I have made I had no problem putting it together. The markings to ease the sleeves in were spot on and I really liked how it all came together so easily. I thought sewing the sleeve linings to the main fabric was going to be a challenge but the instructions were clear and I loved the idea to put a long stitch around first to make sure I had it correct. I love the design, stand up collar and those deep pockets. Perfect for keeping your hands warm and storing the cellphone! My new winter coat – perfect!"

"I really like the coat! The style is very good and works well with jeans or a higher end look. The pockets are fab, the collar is very well designed with good options of standing or fold down. The length is good. The FBA (for me) was the correct decision as the dart fit is perfect."

"I loved the different choice of design features. Two different collars/standup or not. Pocket placements etc. Great choices. I also really enjoy seeing pictures of the pattern made in different fabrics. Take your time and the construction is easy to follow and there is always help available if you get really stuck. I’m not great at altering patterns so I made it as close to my size. The fit was great. Next time I’m going to make a winter short version jacket."

"Love this jacket, love the short length of the body but still nice long sleeves, it has a great collar and fab pockets. This Jacket sews up well and you get a fab professional looking garment at the end."
